I’m sure that everyone would want to join me in expressing our sadness at the passing of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II; the longest-serving monarch in British history. Mother, grandmother and the nation’s guardian and figurehead.
Like many of you, I feel great sadness at the passing of such a significant person, someone who has been there our whole lives. This is truly the end of an era. As a strong female leader, she has inspired many around the world, but it has also been her humanity, great sense of humour and compassion as a mother, grandmother and great grandmother, that has touched and resonated with so many of us.
During these days, our colleagues at HBKB Enterprise will carry on delivering exceptional level of service to all our customers as well as participating in our scheduled business meetings, but will be postponing any events which are more social in nature.
As well as our personal responses, we also have many responsibilities as an Enterprise. There is a timetable that we must follow, which includes our communications with customers, the cancelling of events in the run up to Her Majesty’s funeral, and other civic protocols.
We will share more details about these things as soon as possible, but I wanted to send you an immediate message to let you know that I share in the sense of loss that is rippling across the world, and to reassure you that HBKB Enterprise will play its part in paying our respects to an extraordinary woman.
We also wish to take this opportunity to congratulate His Majesty King Charles III as he ascends the throne. We pray that His Majesty King Charles III is filled to the fullest the wisdom and grace he needs to direct the nation of United Kingdom in this unprecedented and difficult period.
Best wishes,
Kazeem Balogun
